Aint It Cool News reports that Fox just finished signing director Erwin Stoff for a live-action US movie based on the Cowboy Beebop series.  Erwin Stoff is known as being the director for “A Scanner Darkly” so there is some hope that he will make this a good movie.

According to N4G.com, 2 magazine scans of the August issue of Arcadia showing Alex from Street Fighter 3 on the Capcom side, and Yatterman No.1 on the Tatsunoko side. The game is slated for a Winter 2008 release in the Japanese Arcades.

It looks like artist Yoshitaka Amano, known for basically setting the mood with his art and illustrations for the Final Fantasy series, and Vampire Hunter D, will be appearing at the New York Anime Festival. According to Japanator.com, at Fanime, a yearly San Francisco Anime Convention, the Gurren Lagann localization staff, Aniplex, announced that the US dub of Gurren Lagann will be airing on Sci-fi starting June 28th at 11 PM.
