Rock the Lake, $20,000 Guitar Hero III tournament

MINNEAPOLIS, May 08, 2008 – Calling all rockers! Mystic Lake Casino Hotel will host Minnesota’s largest Guitar Hero III competition on Saturday, June 7. With more than $20,000 in cash and prizes, including $10,000 for the tournament champion, this event is sure to attract the area’s best guitar heroes. Registration for the one-day tournament is free with officials preparing to host up to 2,500 competitors. Participants will battle on 50 Guitar Hero stations set up in Mystic Lake Casino’s Grand Ballroom. The rockers who advance to the final round of the tournament will compete in front of a live audience in the Mystic Showroom on Saturday night.
All participants including spectators must be at least 18 years of age. Additional information including tournament rules can be found here.
