A Very Venture Christmas

Some news came out recently from Jackson Publick’s blog, new info about season 3 of the Venture Bros. One item of note was a new collage of various characters appearing in season 3, some being one-offs while others are series mainstays in alternate costumes. Also of note is that Stephen Colbert will not be reprising his role as Professor Impossible, as his manager has stated that “Stephen has neither the time nor the interest in participating in your project.” A bit dickish, hopefully this was just a PR statement and not actually expressed by Mr. Colbert himself. Finally, the blog has some new screenshots from random episodes in season 3, so make sure to check them out.

That would be Dr. Wife now.
I don’t think Colbert would be so rude. He’s been in so many off-color comedy show similar to Venture Bros that I always figured he chose to do spots on such shows because he likes them. My guess is he’s just too busy and that it is indeed a PR response taken out of context.
