Mass Effect street date broken!?

It looks like some intrepid members of the Penny-Arcade forums have been securing copies of the highly anticipated sci-fi RPG Mass Effect well before the street date. It seems that K-Marts across the country have been selling the game early, since that game is not supposed to be out for another 11 days. Congratulations to anyone who manages to get a copy before they get pulled. To everyone else still waiting for the game, I would suggest avoiding the Gamefaqs forums for a while.

I understand that you need to ship big games early to insure there are enough copies on launch. But 11 weeks early is just stupid and asking to be leaked out.
I meant days, sorry. Typo and no rereading skills. Its been fixed.
Ah, that makes more sense. Of course I’m more foolish for actually believing that they’d ship a game two and a half months in advance. I should really think about these things before responding.
