New Smash Bros Character: King Dedede

Kirby’s rival from Dreamland appears as a new combatant in the Smash arena. King Dedede arrives in the heavyweight category, alongside Bowser and DK, wielding his trusty wooden mallet. With the inclusion of Dedede and Metaknight, the Kirby universe is well represented in this iteration of Smash Bros. Sakurai must be very happy for his characters.

It’ like they know what Shmash Bros characters we’ve been asking for, for all these years. The five new characters I wanted in Brawl were Wario, Sonic, Dedede, Metaknight, and Andy from Advance Wars. This wish was before Brawl was even announced. The only one they haven’t done is Andy.
