Warhammer 40k going handheld

THQ has just announced a new game in the Warhammer 40,000 franchise for both the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS. Warhammer 40,000: Squad Commander puts the player in command of the vanilla Ultramarines chapter of the Space Marines, fighting through 13 action packed missions. In addition, the game features head to head online and local multiplayer, with gamers choosing to from various Space Marine and Chaos Space Marine armies. While it is said not to see in Orks or Tau among the small list of playable races, it is nice to see the 40k franchise branching out into handheld territory.
