Hot Topic to carry Guitar Hero merchandise

Hot Topic recently announced the addition of Guitar Hero themed shirts to compliment their line of video game clothing. The shirts are not very impressive, but if you want to show your Guitar Hero pride, you could purchase and wear one of these shirt… if thats your thing. Seriously though, any fan of the game would be better off ignoring these. Here are some pics of the tees.

Um, what? Fans love showing off their loyalty to a brand. So why would you be suggesting otherwise?
So, in other words, if you were truly hardcore about the game, these t-shirts wouldn’t even be enough because you are absolutely glowing with the fanboy/girl aura and it shows more than a t-shirt? I think that’s what you’re getting at. You could of said it differently, though.
Hot Topic merchandise is known among the gaming elite as poser material. So much to the point that wearing a game shirt from hot topic is actually considered a disservice to the game. I think that’s what he meant.
Now you can pick at my statement if you like. But remember, doing so will be defending hot topic merchandise. Is that really what you want?
