New Wii Virtual Console Games - 3/19/07

Today’s batch of games sees the Excitetruck prequel, Excitebike, make it onto the NES side of things. Genesis has the adventure game Beyond Oasis hops in. Beyond Oasis is a Zelda-style game starring Prince Ali! Fabulous he! Ali Ababwa! Turbografx bestows a gift of the horror-themed platformer Splatterhouse. Expect all of these games on a Wii near you.
- Excitebike (NES - 500 Wii Points)
- Beyond Oasis (Sega Genesis - 800 Wii Points)
- SPLATTERHOUSE (Turbografx-16 - 600 Wii Points)

Would Splaterhouse be the first M rated game for virtual console? I’m assuming it’s M rated.
At any rate. I might actually pick one of the later two games up. I never played Oasis for longer than a few minutes but it looks fun and I like the sequel. I remember Splaterhouse being a poor game but I always enjoyed the 2D gore.
heh, excitebike. I remember dueling many hours with my cousin on that game. But just being able to make the tracks that you rode on was awesome.
