New Wii Virtual Console Games - 2/19/07
By Cokomon • Feb 19th, 2007 • Category: Nintendo, Video Games, WiiIt’s President’s Day here in the States and Nintendo has decided to celebrate the Executive Branch of Government by releasing four new Virtual Console games. Actually, I think that they would have done this anyway, but whatever. Still, Nintendo has a nice crop of games available today, including a classic SNES game by Rare.
- Donkey Kong Country (Super NES - 800 Wii Points)
- The Legend of Kage (NES - 500 Wii Points)
- New Adventure Island (Turbographix-16 - 600 Wii Points)
- Streets of Rage (Sega Genesis - 800 Wii Points)

Donkey Kong Country, oh how I love thee.
I hope they bring the others, too. The second one is my favorite out of all of them.
Don’t forget about New Adventure Island and Streets of Rage on there. This was actually a very nice update from Nintendo. Much better than just releasing one big SNES game and then nothing else, like they did for Link to the Past a month ago.
I wonder how tough new adventure island is. It might be next to impossible like the original.
