Gamers were saddened last year when the announcement was made that Clover Studios would be closing its doors. Luckily, former CEO of Clover Studios, Atsushi Inaba, is creating his own development company named Seeds. In addition to other former Clover staff taking up positions as artists, composers and character designers, Capcom’s own Hideki Kimaya and Shinji Mikami have jumped on board. Hideki Kimaya is best known for directing the Devil May Cry series, while Shinji Mikami is famous for creating the Resident Evil series.

Clover studios will close its doors next month, where it will leave behind a legacy of creative titles like Viewtiful Joe, Okami and God Hand. Currently, Seeds is still working on finding a publisher. It is unclear at this time what projects they are working on and what platform they will be developing on. Still, this is very good news for fans of the shamrock-titled company.
