Universal Fighting System to get Darkstalkers license
By Mad Mage • Jan 31st, 2007 • Category: Announcements, CollectablesUniversal Fighting System (UFS) is an incredible collectible card game made by Sabertooth Games. It takes licenses from fighting games such as Street Fighter, Soul Caliber, King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, and now Darkstalkers! This is a brilliant move for UFS, as Darkstalkers is as stylish and cool as fighting games come. Keep the videogame licenses coming, Sabertooth (Guiltygear anyone?)

I might have to start playing if Hsien-Ko comes out.
This is good news, although kind of expected with Capcom’s involvement in the game. Wonder if now Namco will get the idea and we’ll see Tekken alongside Soul Calibur.
It would be nice to see some more licenses that aren’t Capcom/Namco/SNK.
As far as popular fighting games go, it seems to be slim pickings, though. Besides Guilty Gear, there is what? Dead or Alive and Mortal Kombat?
Of course, there is alway Smash Bros, but I doubt Nintendo would swing it.
Oh Snap!
Well, they don’t have to be fighting games.
