New N-Gage to be shown?

Heres an interesting tidbit of info…
According to the-magicbox.com, phone company Nokia is planning to unveil the next-gen N-Gage platform at the Game Developer Conference in March 2007. Instead of being a limited with its functions with one device, the phone will be part of a new platform across Nokia’s N-series smartphones, not limited to 1 device. There will be a new N-Gage activation code system, to allow game publishers to track and manage their games, you can also pass the game to your friends.

They should give it a different name than N-Gage.
Yeah, the N-Gage name has such stigma attached to it, I don’t think that it would be good idea to bring it back. No one would buy it. Well, maybe one person would, but that’s about it…lol.

Well, at least they aren’t putting all their eggs into one basket, instead focusing on making gaming phones so as to have a single environment available among multiple platforms.
